Our story
Madurai Masala Dosa Kadai is a family-run South Indian kitchen tucked inside The Exchange in Ilford. The batter is ground and rested, the sambar simmered fresh, and every dosa is made by hand, the way it would be in a Madurai street kitchen.
It is completely home-cooked and pure vegetarian, with no preservatives, so what you taste is the food and the spices, nothing else. Pull up a bench in the food hall, or take it away.
A small promise from our counter: if you are having a hard time and cannot afford a meal, do not hesitate to ask. There is always a hot dosa for anyone who needs one.
