Diners come back for the crisp, home-style dosa, the fresh chutneys and the welcome. Read them all, or add your own, over on our Google listing.

I will recommend everyone to have the Madurai Podi Masala Dosa. Very well made and excellent taste. Better than any dosa joint in Ilford!!

Our story

A family kitchen from Madurai, on Cranbrook Walk

Madurai Masala Dosa Kadai is a family-run South Indian kitchen tucked inside The Exchange in Ilford. The batter is ground and rested, the sambar simmered fresh, and every dosa is made by hand, the way it would be in a Madurai street kitchen.

It is completely home-cooked and pure vegetarian, with no preservatives, so what you taste is the food and the spices, nothing else. Pull up a bench in the food hall, or take it away.
